What you will be doing
1. Lead and manage cathode research projects in all tactical aspects:
- definition of project scope and perimeter according to BCM strategies
- implement technology roadmap and technology deliverables
- coordinate and collaborate competence projects with cross-functional team
- continuously assess need for talents, people competences, CAPEX definition to meet project objectives
2. Build a profound and broad knowledge and expertise in cathode active materials and product to:
- make the expertise available within other R&D projects.
- acquire knowledge and intelligences on new technologies and generate ideas for new developments
- pro-actively share expertise and communicate on reports/results
3. Team building: develop people in your charge
- Identify and define personalized training and development needs for each team-members
- Provide equal opportunity for trainings and development, then select based on capability
- Sustain use of PEM, MSA, EHS, PSM, 5S, KPI systems within people in your charge
- Build safety & team-mindset in accordance with Zero-Harm objective
Who we are looking for
1. Functional requirements
- University master degree with at least 7 years’ experience in the field of battery materials or University PhD, with at least 2 years’ experience, in the field of materials, inorganic chemistry, physics, engineering, fundamental computation, quantum mechanics
- Languages: sufficient English level for efficient communication
- Plus: agile with large dataset using Python, SQL, PowerBI programming or any other mass data processing software (Minitab, “R”), is a strong plus.

- Good people relationship skills, ability to build networks of contacts inside company
- Ability to analyse numerical data, to assess & summarize information and share knowledge and expertise with others
- High level of consciousness: focus on data quality
- Creative in science and technology
- Results driven: reach target, critical path to reach target, resource efficiency and focus
- Project management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and to take initiatives
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High understanding of multicultural organization and respect different cultures
- Good understanding of matrix organization
